At Quarterfield Elementary PTA, our priority is to make sure that our students have the tools they need to learn and grow.
HOW IT WORKS
Earn prize points by reading and raising donations! Prize winners will be announced at Spring Fling on April 5.

- Choose “Register My Reader”
- Find Your Readers Teacher and Choose “I do not see my reader”
- Create your account with relevant information
- Visit your dashboard and start reading and earning!!!
- Earn Prize Points
- 1 point for every minute read & 5 points for every $1 donated.
- Students will earn a raffle ticket for every 250 prize points (1,000 prize points = 4 raffle tickets)
WHERE DO FUNDS GO
Money from our Read-a-thon helps raise money for our school community to support things like:
- Classroom resource funds for teachers at QES
- Community and social events to strengthen our community bonds, like Movie Night, Spring Fling, Winter Gala, and more!
- Field Trips to places like Arlington Echo, SkateZone, Downs Park, etc.
- And so much more!
We have a variety of prizes this year for individuals, class and grade level readers.
General Support
- Post on Facebook: pick a prize from the PTA treasure box
- Send out 10 text messages: pick a prize from the PTA treasure box
Top Earners
- Receive ANY donations: free snowball at Spring Fling (sponsored by Confer’s Plumbing)
- Receive at least $50 in donations: extra out of uniform day before June 13, 2025
- Top Earner in ECI – Grade 2: Kids First Swim School Party for 10
- Top Earner in Grades 3- 5: Dodge Arrows Party Pass (age 7+)
- Class with most donations: earn a class pizza party (sponsored by Gianni’s Pizza)
- Grade with the most donations: grade-wide ice cream social (sponsored by Confer’s Plumbing)
- Top earners from each grade: Pass to Get Air + a round of mini golf at Arundel Golf
Top Readers
- Read at least one minute: pick a prize from the PTA treasure box
- Read at least 30 minutes: Receive a free kids meal at Panda Express
- Read at least 60 minutes: Receive a free kids meal at Bubba’s 33
- Read at least 700 minutes = Receive a free movie ticket at Horizon Cinema’s and an introductory Lesson and 3 Group Classes at AJ Bartlinski’s Karate
- Top Reader = Receive 4 (four) tickets to the Aberdeen IronBirds
- 2nd Highest Reader: One (1) month Guest of Honor Pass to Get Air
- Over 1400 minutes read? Participate in a Special Raffle for Urban Air Party for 10
